Tuesday through Friday of this week, I will be sharing recipes from the dishes that I made. As we know, lots of French food can be rich, heavy, and absolutely delicious! While I continued with tradition and used butter, I also made the dishes The Happy Healthy Balance-friendly. IE: There is a Jen spin to each dish. Balance is key.

The above photo was our appetizer table. I served brie, sourdough baguette, quince jam, green grapes, nuts, and a French inspired popcorn. I kept it fun and simple. I asked my Mom to bring my favorite appetizer that she makes. It has smoked salmon, crème fraîche, capers, red onion, and lemon zest, on water crackers. Sooooo good! Thanks, Mom!
