SIMPLE SNACKS: APPLES WITH SPICED PB

Hello there, and happy hump day!  This week is just breezing by for me.  How about you? Today I am here to share another addition to the Simple Snacks feature:  apples with peanut butter!  This one is super simple, and I'm sure that you all have had it at least a few dozen times in your life, but I added one small ingredient that is definitely a game changer.  CINNAMON! Yes, this lovely little spice does wonders to an otherwise ordinary snack.  Plus, cinnamon has some great nutritional properties, so let's check them out!

  • Cinnamon can naturally regulate and reduce your blood sugar.  This is why it's not only great to have cinnamon throughout the day, but especially in the morning.  It tastes great in coffee, oatmeal, in Greek yogurt, with apples and pb...
  • Boosts your cognitive function and improves motor skills.  Yay for fast typing!  Ha!
  • This lovely spice is also one nature's antibiotics.  This is a great thing when it comes to harmful bacteria (IE: yeast infections, gum disease, fungus, sore throats, etc.).

Cinnamon is not only great for you, but tastes yummy, too!  Simple slice your apple, and dip into a tablespoon of peanut butter that has a dash of cinnamon (or your favorite nut butter), and enjoy!  Easy peasy!
