Happy hump day! Hope you're all doing well! I have been super busy lately (all good stuff), and have been missing blogging. Part of why I have been busy is this little guy... I may be a bit biased, but is he not the cutest pup you've ever seen?! We adopted him from our local humane society, and he has been taking up the majority of my attention (which I am completely loving). He is an eight year old, apricot Labradoodle (originally we thought Mini-Poodle), who has completely won over our hearts. He didn't have a name when we met him, but his new name is Charlie. So sweet, right?! :)
I could go on and on about Charlie, but I'll get on with the post instead. Ha! Today I am sharing a refreshing, light, and zippy (yes, I said zippy) cocktail that is perfect for summertime! This can totally be made into a mocktail, too! It's 5 o'clock somewhere, right? Hehe!
Refreshing Mint + Lime Cocktail, serves 2
3 oz. vodka, not pictured 1 1/2 c. Honest Mint Limeade (very minimal natural ingredients, and not a ton sugar) 2 limes, juiced Sprig of fresh mint Ice
Simply place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker (or container with lid if you don't have one), and shake! Again, if you prefer to make this a mocktail, just omit the vodka. You could also add a little soda water to make it sparkly, too (just don't shake). Pour over ice, garnish with more mint and a slice of lime, and you're good to go!
Doesn't this look like the perfect drink for summer? This drink is slightly sweet, and slightly tangy. I love that combo! Think you'll try making it? Let me know if you do!
