Happy Monday, friends! I have found that there are two types of people out there (okay, way more than two, but for this post, we're going with two): those that love Monday's, and those that don't. Which one are you? I'll admit that I used to be the latter. But, then I realized that Monday didn't do anything to me, so I re-evaluated things. You may not like Monday's for deeper reasons (job related), or it could just be that you're bummed your fun weekend is over. Again, I was the latter. SOOOO, I switched things up. Here are a few things I did that helped me, and thought I would share. :)
Have a simple dinner. With cooler weather arising, place something in the slow cooker the night before, and your dinner with be ready when you get home. Other options could be take-out, or even kindly asking your partner or roommate to pick something up.
Set up a playlist. I swear, this is my go-to! I love having music on throughout the work-day. I will find a Pandora station I love, put it on low, and listen to it all day. This definitely can break up a quiet day.
Wake up earlier. I really enjoy waking up early each day, because this gives me more time to ease into the day. In order to do this, I like to go to bed earlier the night before, that way I am well rested the next day.
