Happy Friday, beauties!  This week has been so much fun sharing different food ideas that can easily be brought to work.  I hope you've enjoyed it, too!  Monday I shared breakfast ideas, Wednesday was snacks, and today I am sharing lunch ideas that can be brought to work. Leftovers

Okay, so not all leftovers are simple to have at work, but many of them are.  PLUS, there is zero cooking required.  Leftover pasta, pizza, and Thai food are my faves to have the following day for lunch.  What are a few of yours?

Sandwiches

Sandwiches are kind of a given, right?  I mean, they are so versatile, simple to pack, and quick to make.  Here are a few of my faves: curried chickpea sandwich, good ol' fashioned veggie, and a BLTA (faux bacon for me).

Salad

Salads are my go-to for lunch most days.  Like sandwiches, they are very versatile and quick to make.  Here are a few of my favorite salads from the archives: Mason Jar SaladsQuinoa Salad with Veggies, and Greek (Gluten-Free) Pasta Salad.  Helpful hint: pack your salad dressing in a small side container (unless you do a Mason Jar salad) and add it right before you eat, that way your salad doesn't get soggy!

Bowls

I love a good bowl!  Let me explain...Basically, you can put anything in there that sounds good to you.  Often times there is a base, say rice for example.  Then you can top it with veggies, tofu, meat, nuts, seeds, dressing, etc.  I can't wait to try this one!

Soup

If you have a stove or microwave, soup is a great meal to bring to work!  If you don't have a microwave or stove but still really want soup, a thermos is a great alternative!  Some yummy options to make ahead of time: Spicy Vegetable Soup, Butternut Squash Soup, and Miso-Ginger Gyoza Soup.

I hope that not only these lunch ideas sparked some interest for you, but also the breakfast and snack ideas, too!  What are your favorite foods to have at work?  Have a great weekend!

P.S. Monday is a holiday, so I will be taking the day off and spending time with family.  See you next Wednesday!
